Fremont Friends Playgroup exists to bring together parents of children under 5 who do best in small group settings. We see each other routinely and encourage regular participation to form strong bonds with other members. Because of the nature of the group, we will have a maximum of 35 members at any given time. Our regular events take place in Fremont, on Tuesday & Thursday mornings and Friday afternoons. We meet at the park, member homes, the library, and local kid-friendly businesses.

This playgroup is for all moms (or dads!) of kids aged 0-5. Come meet other moms of tots, for friendship and lots of FUN, FUN, FUN!  Most of our events are geared towards toddlers, and we do a variety of home playdates, park playdates, arts & crafts, moms night out, stroller walks, parties, family events and MORE! We are a growing community of breastfeeding moms.  We're here to support each other and offer advice.  All women interested in breastfeeding are encouraged to attend group meetings regardless of membership status. Babies and toddlers are always welcome.  Please see our website for additional information.  Our La Lech League Leader, Deanne, is always happy to help with your breastfeeding issues over email, or on the phone.

As an active Fremont Community member and small business owner, I wish to start a business networking group where women who are small business owners can come together to network. I wish to have one of each type of business represented in this group. I hope to get this started and have meetings - either lunch or breakfast meetings at a local venue which works for everyone.

I am new to the area and have a 14 year old daughter who loves to play basketball.. Unfortunately, with the high school having only one team and the cost of leisure basketball clubs in the area being more than what we want to pay for play...
